For my 20% project I and my partner are trying to build an animal hotel to get animals out of the shelter. It is a therapy thing. We are figuring out a way to pay for a place to build it. We were thinking about making jars to put at animal related businesses. Iwe accompliished our goal which was to figure out how we were gonna come up with procedes. Our November goal is to design a place, and continue to make money.

On Wednesday October 21, I along with my peers, played 21. It is a gambling game. At first I was a little scared to up any money down because I didn't want to lose any money. But as the time went on I decided to put in more money. I really didn't have any strategy. I just made sure I had an amount that was more than the card on the table plus ten. It was fun! I won out of pure luck!
I have two stocks bought as of now. They are Hasbro and Disney. Hasbro is a trade because I am going to sell it after the holiday season. The only reason I bought Hasbro was because I wanted to buy a toy stock since Christmas and all the other holidays are coming up. The definition of a trade is a buy that lasts for less than six months, it is usually is sold after it's highest point of the year. I bought Disney because it's highs and lows are pretty standard, they are pretty level for the most part. I would call this an investment because I won't sell it for a long time (longer than six months).

The difference between a trade and an investment is that a trade is short term (less than 6 months). An investment is long term (longer that 6 months). Something that helps me remember this is to think of high school relationships and marriage. They are both effective, but one lasts longer than the other?

On Thursday October 10, 2013, we the class, trampled over each other in order to play an intriguing candy stock game. We had to fight each other for candy as if we were two year olds on an Easter egg hunt. It was quite fun, and it played on our skills to enter the stock buying world. A lot of market and company changes occurred such as twizzlers joining with laffy taffy. It was very nerve racking and I was trying to figure out what was the best decision was to make our money amount more effective, so me, shelbe, and cailyn put all of the candy that we had together so we could buy and sell easier. In the end, we each had 3000$.

20% time post #1
Shelbe and I want to make an animal hotel for animals that don't have a good home. We have found that 350-400 cats are sheltered in Powell along with 300-350 dogs. 400-420 cats are sheltered in Cody along with 375-400 dogs. We figured this out over the September month. We want to figure out a lot of things throughout October. We want to figure out how much everything for the hotel would cost and how we would build it. Also we are going to call other shelters around the Big Horn Basin. Just to figure out the you thanked average of Wyoming.

What I Plan to Do After High School
I am planning on going to college right out of high school. I would either like to go to Parsons in New York (a dreamer can dream), Kansas State, or any of the Art Institutes of America (in Colorado or Portland). It will be a four year if I went to K-State. If I went to Parsons or The Art Institutes of America, it would be a two or four year. I plan on trying to get scholarships, financial aid, or anything that will help me pursue me dreams. I will have a job to pay for living when I am schooling. I want a Ford Fusion Hybrid SE. It's $27,200.00 for the car. I would get a truck, but I want something more fuel efficient. I got this info from Ford.com. I learned that it costs a LOT of money to live in New York! It's cheaper in Denver and Kansas. Like I said though, a dreamer can dream.
